Founded in 2012, SoPost employs over 40 people across three hubs: our technology team of software engineers and UX/UI designers are based in Newcastle (United Kingdom), while our commercial and partnership teams are located in both London and New York.
At SoPost, we’re on a mission to build the most powerful product sampling platform in the world. Our technology enables many of the world’s most recognisable brands to run highly effective product sampling campaigns online, giving away one sample every second.
In 2020 we ranked in the top 50 of the Sunday Times Tech Track 100, and over the last few months our growth trajectory has been significant. We are looking to hire talented individuals that will help it continue.
As a Technical Product Manager for the API, reporting to the Head of Product, it will be your responsibility to serve as the expert for SoPost’s Developer solutions. You’ll have a strong technical background to identify and solve problems whilst supporting and driving Engineers and Designers to execute the roadmap inline with company goals and objectives.
The successful candidate should have the ability to effectively communicate across the business to both technical and non-technical stakeholders about changes to the product and the rationale for the prioritisation.
Responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate would have spent time within a similar Product Management position, or has been in a technically focused role and is now keen to enable the Product process with strong communication and collaboration skills.
As a bonus, it would be great if you had:
Competitive Salary plus 23 days of annual leave, increasing to 25 by the end of three years of service.
Commitment to growing your professional development and a training budget to support that commitment.
Eligibility for our flexible working arrangement, giving you the power to manage your time and place of work.
Participation in Annual Bonus Plan and SoPost pension scheme.
Social events (monthly team lunches and quarterly drinks / team building activities)
The hiring process may change slightly depending on a number of factors. It is generally a multi step process as indicated. If you pass one stage, you will proceed to the next. We try to give feedback to you if your application is unsuccessful but this is not always possible.
We believe that the successful recruitment for any role at SoPost is as much about giving you the opportunity to find out as much as possible about us and our company as it is about us finding out about you and your capabilities. We want you to be as excited about joining SoPost as we are about being here!
With that philosophy in mind, we will be running the following selection process to ensure that each candidate is given a comprehensive view of what we are all about:
We believe that the best workplaces celebrate and promote diversity. We are committed to ensuring that SoPost is an equal opportunity employer. And we think it’s right to build a company where everybody is welcome, with an open culture that thrives on not just our similarities but also our differences.
Part of this commitment is our promise that every team member and job applicant is treated equally, regardless of protected characteristics such as race, sexuality, religion or age.
Our company values of ownership, trust, no surprises, bigger than me, and doing it right, capture the essence of this statement, but we’re now being clear that this is key to our mission.
Would you love to work with some of the world’s biggest brands? Does working in a fast paced environment that’s growing quickly sound exciting to you?
