As the Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be responsible for ensuring that our environments are fully operational and meeting our service metrics. You will play a key part in managing our platform, ensuring we deliver the best possible experience to all our brand partners and their users.
You will need to implement service levels and build automated solutions that verify that those levels are continually met. This is a hands on role and you will need to develop a thorough understanding of our platform.
Our platform will continually change and improve whilst we face new challenges. The successful candidate will ensure that our platform maintains a consistent user experience throughout changes and unexpected events. You will need to work closely with a small operational team to deliver a world class service, where disaster recovery and business continuity plans are baked into our day to day workings.
Your job will be to create tools and systems that verify our platform is working, whilst playing a key role in coordinating complex deployments of new features.
As the first SRE to join SoPost, we will be looking to hire someone with experience of managing production environments that can bring fresh, innovative ideas to the operations team.
We are really interested in speaking to candidates that have the right mind-set when it comes to learning on the job and the ability to problem solve effectively, so although not necessary, the below technical skills would be very advantageous to your application.
