As a DevOps Engineer at SoPost, it will be your responsibility to manage both cloud and IT infrastructure globally, supporting the rest of the team ensuring our networks are secure and easy to use.
Our mission at SoPost is to create the world’s most powerful product sampling platform with a focus on data, relevance and analytics. With offices in London, Newcastle and New York and many remote workers, a key part of this role will be to set up, onboard and maintain equipment, creating processes and solutions to protect the safety of our users.
The successful candidate will need experience in cloud infrastructure and will be expected to work closely with the development team to deliver application services across multiple environments, hosted around the globe. We currently work with containerised workloads using Kubernetes on Google Cloud to host all of the business platform.
The DevOps role will require the ability to design, develop and implement procedures for troubleshooting and maintenance, deployment of updates and fixes and technical support.
It is essential that applications continue to run 24/7, detect errors and provide remediation when needed and with that in mind, we have compiled a list of essential skills required for this post.
