The Role

SoPost is a technology company that is thoroughly disrupting the product sampling space. We are growing quickly and we're looking for talented Business Development Managers to join our commercial team in London.

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the role of a Business Development Manager is focused on delivering new business within an agreed set of vertical markets. The role involves responsibility for the full sales cycle from prospecting, meeting setting, proposal delivery through to close.



With a proven track record in delivering new business and consistently hitting revenue targets you'll be a strategic thinker, able to manage the full sales cycle.

You have a consultative approach to sales, which should start with you completing detailed account plans across the target Brand Partners within your given set of vertical markets. You will use these account plans to help you build a qualified and robust sales pipeline enabling you to complete detailed weekly and monthly reporting on your performance against your revenue targets.

  1. BA/BS degree, or equivalent
  2. Ability to manage a full sales cycle with a proven track record in delivering new business
  3. Demonstrated experience in growing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline
  4. Strategic thinker with a consultative sales approach
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills
  6. Strong organisation, communication (written and verbal) and computer skills (fluent in Google Docs, Google Calendar and Google Sheets)
  7. Strong attention to detail


  1. 1-2 years’ of sales experience, preferably within the SaaS space
  2. Demonstrated ability to deliver against revenue targets
  3. An understanding of digital marketplace and understanding of the competitive landscape in which we operate
  4. Preference for working in small, collaborative teams


The salary for this role is dependant on experience.

Holidays and Benefits

You'll get 23 days’ holiday plus bank holidays every year. Once you’ve been here for three years, we’ll give you an extra two days of holiday allowance.

We keep a well-stocked fridge full of soft drinks and beer or if you prefer something more refined, we have delicious coffee beans and a great coffee machine. You will be based in our London office, but there are opportunities to travel to our Newcastle office, and internationally.

We split the hiring process into five distinct parts. If you pass one stage, you will proceed to the next. We try to give feedback to applicants if they are not successful but this is not always possible.

The process is designed to give you maximum insight into what it is like to work here and also for us to be able to assess your skills as quickly as possible.

You will be asked to complete a pre-interview task; you would then present this to the Director of Business Development and CEO
